「 Character 」
Name: Yuki (Spoiler name: Yukito Orikasa)
Canon: IDOLiSH7
Canon Point: End of Part 3 (canon updated as of April 28)
Age: 26

Background
"Every time I'm about to stop, you always make me sing again……. "

Yuki's story starts with meeting Banri Oogami in middle school, over his compositions. They end up bonding over a mutual love of singing and songwriting, deciding to start a band. The duo run into a couple of problems on the way (largely due to Yuki's terrible personality), which results in them ditching the band concept and debuting as an idol duo instead.

(Just before their third anniversary, Momo watches Re:vale live and sends them a heartfelt thank you letter.)

Five years after Re:vale is formed, they were approached by Kujo Takamasa – Kujo wanted Yuki, to develop him into an idol that would surpass the legendary idol Zero.

Yuki said no (and called Kujo gross).

Tragedy struck after – Banri was injured by a falling stage prop while trying to protect Yuki, and disappeared entirely not long after, with Yuki considering quitting singing altogether as a result.

Re:vale almost ended, then.

It didn't, thanks to Momo begging him, for an entire month, knocking on his door and pleading to be Banri's replacement, that Yuki caved and agreed to continue.

Re:vale, now comprising Momo and Yuki, started from scratch. But they persevered, eventually being crowned as one of Japan's top idols, and were successfully moving towards their 5th anniversary - there were some complications along the way, but those were settled once Yuki reassured Momo that no, he wasn't going to disband Re:vale or replace Momo after five years. Banri also finally revealed himself to Yuki after his self-imposed exile as Re:vale's biggest fan.

The next major story arc deals with Re:vale trying to handle several corrupt media executives, trying to make sure that they don't succeed in their smear campaigns against Re:vale and their juniors - IDOLiSH7 and TRIGGER.

Personality
Yuki is known as a cool, collected idol – someone who's surrounded with an almost-impenetrable cool air, one that's befitting his title as one of Japan's top idols, and impressive enough that he intimidated IDOLiSH7 when they met for the first time.

Those who know Yuki better, know it's really is just an exterior, and is very easily cracked. He's easy and quick to laugh, primarily due to the bokke-like antics of his partner Momo, and is easily amused, to the point that he's able to make casual jokes about his possible illegitimate child (spoiler: he doesn't have one) when asked if he's okay with questions about his private life, or to needle at the people that he's familiar with and will probably give him a free pass, despite their more senior status. It's also a useful skill when it comes to hyping up the energy of a room, part and parcel of his job as an entertainer.

Most of his kouhai can also attest that Yuki is someone who cares very sincerely about his kouhai – he watches out for their wellbeing the best that he can and keeps in contact with them, recommending them for jobs that he thinks would be suited for them, for instance, suggesting that IDOLiSH7 take part in the reopening concert for the Zero Arena. He's also been seen providing words of encouragement (or egging on, really) to TRIGGER when they declared that they would compete against Re:vale and win at the annual Black or White Music Festival. Sometimes the protectiveness manifests in vaguely questionable ways, such as getting ready to beat Ryou Tsukumo up with a metal bat if he dared lay a finger on Momo. As someone who has gone through immense amounts of hardship, having started over from the bottom multiple times, Yuki is acutely aware of the difficulties of being an idol and hence tries to ease the pathway for his kouhai the best that he can.

Yuki wasn't always that nice, though. Those are the more mellow parts of Yuki's personality, the things that have been toned down after exposure to Momo and Banri and making him a better person, so to speak.

Yuki used to have a terrible personality.

Some parts of it still remain – many of Yuki's more questionable decisions can be traced back to the fact that he's a feeler, not a thinker. While he's capable of rational thought and decision making, it's no secret that his own thoughts and opinions influence whatever subsequent stance that he takes. Yuki can be stubbornly one-track minded and refuse to see the other side of the story. He's very headstrong, and coupled with his sense of pride and self-worth, it's usually enough for Yuki to butt heads with almost everyone that he interacted with, and even now, most of his arguments and fights in canon with Momo can be traced back to a divergence in opinion (such as Momo's attitude in dealing with Tsukumo Ryou) with neither side giving in.

Yuki is also an excellent example of thriving in contradictions. He's been described as irresponsible, lazy and a general slob, but also someone who is hardworking and intense when it comes to his one true passion: music and songwriting. He finds most things tedious and tiresome, answering his chats with single word responses due to the amount of effort involved, but is also that person who endlessly obsesses over minute details in his songs to make sure that he's gotten everything just perfect and up to his extremely high standards. Yuki looks like he's laid back and doesn't care about what's going on, but he's also not above using his power and his status (as senpai, or as Black or White consecutive winners) to manipulate the cards on his side of the table to get what he wants out of the situation.

On a slightly more alarming note, Yuki still has zero sense of fear and also has no filter whatsoever. While he's fond of taking care of his kouhai, some of the things that he's said to them, especially when dealing with matters of the heart, are straightforward, blunt and tactless, and he doesn't put any care into the nuance of his words or how they may sound somewhat offensive, making him terrible at socialising with people in general. Re:vale has also been described as “feral”, as evidenced in how they were willing to bite back against the most powerful people in the entertainment industry during their smear campaign efforts.

Powers
Yuki is a normal human with no supernatural abilities whatsoever!

He does have some knowledge of stunt work and martial arts and knows how to handle a gun, but that mostly comes from skills that he's needed to learn how to use for his drama roles rather than any formal, proper training.

Items
A baseball bat with some metal nails driven into it, which is supposed to be a weapon (I swear this is actually from canon)
Smartphone and earphones

「 Game Info 」
Job Placement
- Songwriting: Yuki canonically writes all of Re:vale's songs, for both past and present Re:vale! Some samples: Taiyou no Esperanza, Silver Sky and We, the Incomplete
- Acting: Yuki has been casted in multiple dramas in canon in leading roles, the largest of which in-canon is the film Mission, a thriller-action film. He's also acted in romance dramas as well.
- General idol skills: As an idol by trade, and someone who's been considered as a veteran (since most groups rarely hit 5 years), Yuki is well versed in singing, dancing, modelling and photography.
- MC-ing/hosting: While he's much better at it when paired together with Momo, Yuki is able to hold his own when it comes to talking to industry figures and hosting programmes on his own, and he's adept enough at reading situations to adjust his line of conversation accordingly so that the audience continues to follow along and doesn't lose interest in the programme.
- Management: Yuki is very good at looking out for his junior idol groups, often recommending them to take on certain jobs or inviting them to co-star with him to put them in the spotlight.

(I feel like I should say it but it's been noted in canon that Yuki will probably get fired in three days if he ends up with a salaryman job because of how difficult he can be to work with.)

Sex Work
Not really. Yuki would detest the idea of sex work since it's not related to songwriting/music in any form.

Faction Placement
- Nishi (West)
- Kita (North)
- Minami (South)
- Higashi (East)
- Yoshiwara Police Department
